Actuonix Micro Linear Electric Actuator with Limit Switch ( -S ), Rod Type, 10mm Stroke, 210:1, 6V

Actuonix L12-S Micro Linear Actuators (Linear Motor) are designed with, PMDC (permanent magnet DC) motor and rectangular cross-sectional area to provide more power, which is the general feature of the L12 series. The most attractive aspect of the L12 series electric piston is the wide range of choices for different needs (L12-S 24 variants and L12 series 84 variants).

Actuonix L12-10-210-6-S linear actuator is widely used in medical devices, space stations (Actuonix actuators were used in the International Space Station), aerospace, industrial automation and automotive projects with its compact small and high-speed structure. The 50:1 reduction ratio actuators are the fastest linear actuators of the L12-S series.

The L12-S series products include a limit switch for motion control. The actuator can move until the stroke is within 1mm of the travel distance; when it reaches this distance, the limit switch stops the extension. The point at which the limit switches stop the movement is factory-adjusted.

The Actuonix L12-10-210-6-S servo actuator is very easy to control. When you apply voltage to the actuator, it will lengthen, and when you reverse the polarity, the actuator will shorten. This voltage reversal can be done with a DPDT switch or by using an H-bridge circuit. However, Actuonix L12-S series actuators cannot be used with the LAC control board.

The Actuonix L12-10-210-6-S linear actuator operates on a nominal 6V but is also available in a 12V version. If the L12-S Series doesn't meet your power needs, check out the more powerful L16-S series!
