    Actuonix L12 linear actuator types are divided into four according to the control method; with limit switch (-S), position feedback with potentiometer (-P),  built-in microcontroller (-I) and standard hobby type RC servo motor interface (-R). L12-R series with servo motor control and Arduino interface have the following essential variations;

       o There are 3 different stroke options: 30mm, 50mm and 100mm 

       o There are 3 reduction ratios (25mm/s, 13mm/s, 6.5mm/s no-load speed) that can generate 22N, 42N and 80N max lifting force for different sized loads.

       o With 6V supply voltages there are 9 types of actuators in this series

    Actuonix L12-R servo actuators are preferred in RC model toys (dumper chassis, excavator, dozer, loader, model airplane), retractable awning and sunshade motorization, camera stabilizers (camera gimbals) and different robotic architectures.

    Other highlighted features of Actuonix L12-50-210-6-R linear servo actuator:

    i) The L12-R linear servo motor series can be a direct replacement for standard hobby servos. Whether controlled by an RC receiver, an Arduino microcontroller board or a VEX microcontroller, it acts as an electric piston capable of linear push-pull motion in your project.

    ii) Actuonix L12-R linear servos have 3 connectors (GND, PWR and Control signals) with standard servo connection.

    iii) 12V supply voltage and 10mm stroke options are NOT available on the L12-R series!

    iv) L12-R series consists of anodized aluminium shaft, metal geared DC motor (in black plastic parts), brass screws and steel bearing and control electronics.

    v) The L12-R has plug & play compatibility with many RC receivers. However, it is incompatible with Futuba receivers that output 2.7V, such as the R6014FS. Regulators such as Smart Fly Power Expander or Orbit Power Jack can be used to reduce the signal level to 6V.
